Total PDF(이하 "앱")는 사용자의 개인정보를 존중합니다. 이 앱은 사용자의 개인정보를 외부 서버로 수집하거나 전송하지 않습니다.

데이터 처리

앱의 모든 PDF 처리(암호 해제, 암호 설정, 사본 저장, 사진 변환, 사진→PDF 변환, 지원 문서(TXT·RTF·이미지)의 PDF 변환, 문서 스캔, 글자 인식(OCR), 페이지 편집·병합, 서명·주석·워터마크·문서 비교, 양식 채우기·민감 정보 가리기, 공유 확장에서의 암호 해제)는 사용자 기기 안에서만 이루어집니다.
선택한 문서·이미지 파일이나 입력한 암호는 앱의 서버로 전송되지 않습니다. 작업을 위해 기기 안에 파일 사본을 만들며, 암호는 파일이나 설정에 기록하지 않습니다.
선택한 PDF와 처리 결과는 최근 문서에 자동 보관될 수 있습니다(암호 제거·암호 걸기에서 다룬 파일은 보관하지 않으며, 최근 문서 화면에서 자동 보관을 끌 수 있습니다). 다른 앱에서 "복사"로 받은 파일은 임시 폴더로 옮깁니다. 작업용 임시 파일은 기기의 임시 폴더에 생성되었다가 앱을 다시 실행할 때 앱이 직접 삭제하고, 그 전에도 시스템이 정리할 수 있습니다. 공유 확장에서 만든 결과는 App Group에 저장되며 앱의 공유 결과 지우기 기능으로 삭제할 때까지 보관됩니다. 공유 대기 결과는 기기 백업에서 제외합니다. 직접 저장하거나 공유한 파일은 해당 저장 위치에서 관리해 주세요.

최근 문서·초안·서명 보관

1.6부터 최근 문서 사본, 즐겨찾기, 편집 초안과 서명·도장을 앱 내부에 보관합니다. 기기 파일 보호를 적용하고 클라우드 백업에서 제외합니다. 최근 문서는 최대 200개·PDF 합계 500MB이며, 한도에 도달하면 즐겨찾기·편집 초안이 없는 오래된 문서부터 자동으로 삭제합니다. 보관함에서 직접 삭제하거나 앱을 삭제하면 제거됩니다. 자동 저장·복원은 서명·주석과 워터마크·페이지 번호 편집에 적용됩니다. 보관 실패 시 임시 사본으로 편집할 수 있지만 결과를 직접 저장해야 합니다.

사용자가 선택한 공유 및 외부 앱

Office·HWP/HWPX 파일은 앱에서 직접 변환하지 않습니다. 사용자가 ‘다른 앱에서 열기’를 선택하면 해당 파일을 선택한 앱으로 전달합니다. 공유·클라우드 저장·외부 앱 이용 시에는 선택한 서비스의 개인정보 처리방침이 적용되며, 해당 서비스가 파일을 업로드할 수 있습니다. 앱은 사용자의 선택 없이 변환을 위해 문서를 외부 서버로 보내지 않습니다.

사진 접근 권한

"사진으로 저장" 기능을 사용할 때만, 변환된 이미지를 사진 앱에 추가하기 위해서 사진 접근(추가 전용) 권한을 요청합니다.
앱은 사용자의 기존 사진을 읽거나 열람하지 않습니다. "사진으로 PDF 만들기" 기능은 시스템 사진 선택기를 사용하므로, 사용자가 직접 고른 사진만 앱에 전달되며 별도의 사진 접근 권한이 필요하지 않습니다. "카메라로 문서 스캔"은 촬영 시에만 카메라 권한을 사용하며, 촬영한 이미지는 기기 안에서만 처리됩니다.

결제

유료 잠금해제는 Apple의 App Store(StoreKit)를 통해 처리됩니다. 결제 정보는 Apple이 처리하며, 앱은 사용자의 결제·금융 정보에 접근하지 않습니다.

기기 내 진단 보고서

iOS가 MetricKit을 통해 앱에 전달하는 성능·오류 진단 보고서는 기기에만 최대 20개 보관되며 클라우드 백업에서 제외됩니다. 앱이 보고서를 자동으로 전송하지 않습니다. 앱 내 개인정보 처리방침의 ‘진단 보고서’에서 사용자가 직접 공유하거나 모두 삭제할 수 있고, 앱을 삭제하면 함께 삭제됩니다. 사용자가 공유하면 선택한 앱이나 서비스의 개인정보 처리방침이 적용됩니다.

추적 및 광고

앱은 사용자를 추적하지 않으며, 광고 및 분석 도구를 사용하지 않습니다.

Total PDF ("the App") respects your privacy. The App does not collect or transmit personal data to external servers.

Data handling

All PDF processing (password removal, password protection, saving a copy, converting to photos, photos-to-PDF, supported document (TXT, RTF and image) conversion to PDF, document scanning, text recognition (OCR), page editing/merging, signatures, annotations, watermarks, document comparison, form filling, redaction, and unlocking from the share extension) happens entirely on your device.
The documents and images you select and the passwords you enter are not uploaded to the App’s servers. Working copies stay on the device; passwords are not written to files or preferences.
Selected PDFs and output copies may be stored automatically in Recent Documents (files used in Unlock and Protect are not kept, and automatic keeping can be turned off in Recent Documents). Files received from other apps with “Copy” are moved to the temporary folder. Temporary working files are created in the device's temporary directory and deleted by the App on the next launch (the system may also clear them earlier). Results from the share extension remain in the App Group until you delete them using the app’s clear shared results action. Pending shared results are excluded from device backup. Copies you save or share are managed at their destination.

Recent documents, drafts and reusable marks

Version 1.6 stores recent PDF copies, favorites, editing drafts, signatures and stamps inside the app. Data is protected on-device and excluded from cloud backup. Recent PDFs are limited to 200 documents and 500 MB; at the limit, the oldest documents without favorites or editing drafts are removed automatically. Delete data in the library or remove the app. Draft restoration applies to signature/annotation and watermark/page-number editing. If retention fails, editing can continue with a temporary copy, but you must save the result.

Sharing and external apps you choose

Office and HWP/HWPX files are not converted directly by the App. When you choose Open in Another App, the file is passed to the app you select. Sharing, cloud storage and external apps are governed by the selected service’s privacy policy; that service may upload files. The App does not send documents to external servers for conversion without your choice.

Photo access

The App requests add-only Photos permission only when you use "Save to Photos", solely to add the converted images to your photo library.
The App does not read or browse your existing photos. The "Photos to PDF" feature uses the system photo picker, so only the photos you explicitly choose are handed to the App and no photo library permission is required. "Scan with camera" uses the camera only while you are scanning, and the captured images are processed only on your device.

Payments

The one-time unlock is handled through Apple's App Store (StoreKit). Payment is processed by Apple; the App has no access to your payment or financial information.

On-device diagnostic reports

Performance and error reports delivered to the app by iOS through MetricKit are kept only on this device, limited to the newest 20 reports and excluded from cloud backup. The app does not send reports automatically. In Privacy Policy → Diagnostic Reports, you can choose to share or delete them. Removing the app deletes them as well. If you share reports, the privacy policy of the app or service you choose applies.

Tracking and ads

The App does not track you and does not use any advertising or analytics tools.
